Workspace ONE Assist in TestDrive

Workspace ONE Assist is Workspace ONE UEM's modern device remote control and management functionality available on Windows 10, macOS, Android, and Windows Mobile, as well as for remote view on iOS.

This guide outlines support for Workspace ONE Assist in TestDrive's ready to use (RTU) Workspace ONE UEM environment.   Assist is not supported in UEM sandbox tenants. 

Availability in TestDrive
Workspace ONE Assist is available to use throughout the ready to use (RTU) environment, Just enroll a supported device.  Please reference your Assist-supported platform's KB guide. 

UEM Sandbox
The TestDrive-provisioned Workspace ONE UEM sandbox tenant does not support Workspace ONE Assist. This is a TestDrive limitation.

Device Requirements

Review the device requirements for your platform before attempting Workspace ONE Assist in 

TestDrive setup notes:

  • Android
    • Legacy enrollment is not supported.
    • An Android device must have both the Assist Agent and OEM-specific Assist Service, with the exception of Samsung and Sony devices.  The Assist Agent installs automatically on Work Managed Devices enrolled into  A few of the OEM-specific Assist Service apps are available for manual deployment in the Enterprise - Corporate Owned Demo OG and rugged demo.
      • If you you need to show Workspace ONE Assist on a supported device, but don't see the service  available in, check for Assist service support, and then let us know
